Monitor Distortion

Sometimes a pending Windows Update can cause monitor/display issues.  The first thing you should try is restarting your computer. 

If the display issues continue after the restart, unplug the monitor power cable and then plug it back in.  If this does not fix your issue find the cable that goes from your monitor to the computer, this will usually have screws that hold them in place and can be twisted off by hand.  Verify that both ends of the cable are tight and secure.
