PFSense VLAN setup

Current setup is for using a LigoWave NFT-3AC

On AP:

Settings->find the network you want and click the gear icon on the right side of it to edit-> expand advanced settings->Check the "Map to data VLAN ID" box and select the VLAN tag you want (2 or higher)-> Click Done and Save Changes

On PFSense

1.Interfaces->Interface Assignments->VLANs tab->Add

2.Make sure the parent interface is the LAN interface, and the VLAN Tag matches the tag you made on the access point.

3.Interfaces->Interface Assignments

4.There should be a new network port named "VLAN #(Data Tag) on Lan (Network_Name)", click "Add" to the right

5. Click on the name of the interface to go to the main interface page.

6.Check the "Enable Interface" box, give the interface a static ip, save and apply.

7.Services->DHCP Server-> navigate to the tab of the name of the VLAN network-> Enable DHCP server on the interface and specify DHCP range. Save and Apply
